Terms of Service for Tech Deck Labs

Please read the following Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Tech Deck Labs website (the “Website”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these 

Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Website.

1. Account Creation and Accuracy of Information 

By creating an account on the Tech Deck Labs website, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Tech Deck Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is found to be false, misleading, or violates these Terms.

2. License Terms 

2.1 Subscription Types 

Tech Deck Labs offers two types of subscriptions: Yearly and Lifetime.

2.2 Yearly Subscription 

The Yearly subscription includes:

  • A Single Plugin subscription for use on one or an unlimited number of websites. This subscription package needs to be renewed annually.
  • A Custom subscription, where you can select the desired plugins, specify the number of projects, and pay for the selected plugins as a set. Renewal for Custom subscriptions applies to the entire set of plugins and cannot be selected individually.
  • An All-Inclusive Yearly subscription for one or unlimited websites, providing access to all Tech Deck Labs plugins (including any addons), dynamic templates, design templates, and interactive popups for one year. Support and product updates are included as long as the subscription plan is active.

2.3 Lifetime Subscription

Tech Deck Labs offers two types of Lifetime subscriptions:

  • Freelance Lifetime: Allows activation on up to 500 websites.
  • All-Inclusive Lifetime: Grants unlimited access to all Tech Deck Labs products and updates. Both Lifetime packages include access to pre-made templates and customer support indefinitely, with a one-time fixed payment.

2.4 License Activation on Local Servers 

Using a license key on a local server counts as one license activation, except for the following domains: localhost, 10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16, .dev, .local, dev., staging. Changing the domain after website transfer from the local server is possible through the Dashboard during Tech Deck Labs installation or in the License tab of the Dashboard.

2.5 Subscription Pausing 

Tech Deck Labs reserves the right to pause your subscription if suspicious activity is detected, such as a high number of newly created websites. In such cases, Tech Deck Labs may request a list of domains where the license key was used. If your subscription is paused, please contact support for further details. This measure is taken for security and data protection purposes.

2.6 Subkey Usage 

To grant access to websites created by you, Tech Deck Labs recommends using subkeys. Subkeys help protect your license from being stolen or misused.

2.7 Price Changes 

Tech Deck Labs may change its prices at any time. Existing clients will not be affected by these changes, and new pricing will only apply to new clients.

2.8 License Upgrades and Renewals 

Upgrading to All-Inclusive Yearly or All-Inclusive Lifetime can be done through your dashboard by selecting the Crocoblock -> Upgrade option. The price difference between the two plans will be automatically calculated, and you will only pay the remaining balance. Upgrading does not extend the duration of your subscription. License renewal occurs automatically if your card is valid, sufficient funds are available, and your License Key is still active. Any discounts or differences in pricing applied during the initial purchase are one-time privileges and will not apply to future renewals.

3. Prohibited Uses 

When using Tech Deck Labs products, you agree not to:

  • Resell any plugin or subscription.
  • Include Tech Deck Labs plugins in any hosting plans, themes & plugins packages, or bundles, unless an Official Partnership is established (contact marketing@techdecklabs.com for inquiries).
  • Share or publish your access to your Tech Deck Labs account, license, or credentials publicly, including forums, websites, social media, or any other public platforms.
  • Violate any laws or regulations.
  • Infringe upon any intellectual property rights.
  • Make any Tech Deck Labs products available for downloading, which would violate the terms of the GPL 2.0 license.

4. Refund and Cancellation 

4.1 Refund Policy 

Tech Deck Labs offers a refund system within 30 days of purchase. To request a refund, please use the Refund button in your personal Tech Deck Labs account or contact the Support team via chat or ticket. Pro Rata Refunds are not available. In the case of a Custom subscription with multiple plugins, refunds are not available for individual plugins. The following items are not covered by refunds:

  • Bank fees incurred during the refund process.
  • Exchange rate differences.
  • Tax fees.

Refunded funds will be processed within 30 business days.

4.2 Subscription Cancellation 

You can cancel your Tech Deck Labs subscription at any time through your personal account to prevent any recurring charges.

5. Technical Support 

5.1 Support Availability 

Tech Deck Labs provides support to valid licenses through chats, tickets, or Zoom calls. Support agents may request your License key and purchase email for verification. Support will only be provided if the License key and purchase email match.

5.2 Subkey Support 

When using a subkey, support will only be provided if the subkey is verified via the associated purchase email.

5.3 Code of Conduct

Please communicate with Tech Deck Labs support agents in a respectful manner, refraining from using harassing, hurtful, abusive, insulting, aggressive, or offensive language. Support agents may warn users about unacceptable behavior and close the chat, ticket, or call if the behavior persists.

5.4 Support Eligibility 

Support is available for the following scenarios:

  • Issues related to Tech Deck Labs products purchased from techdecklabs.com.
  • Difficulties with Tech Deck Labs product functionalities.
  • Pre-sale questions before making a purchase.

Before contacting support, please consult the frequently asked questions, troubleshooting guides, knowledge base, YouTube guides, and the Facebook community for potential solutions.

Support agencies may refuse product maintenance if no valid purchase email is provided.

To expedite the resolution process in tickets or chats, please provide the following information privately:

  • Website address (URL)
  • Admin user role login credentials (username and password)
  • FTP access (phpMyAdmin, cPanel, etc.)
  • Permission to activate/deactivate plugins and switch themes
  • A link to the page where the issue occurred
  • A detailed description of the issue, along with screenshots capturing the problem.

6. Support Privacy Concerns 

Support agents may request website credentials to resolve or investigate reported issues. It is recommended to share only staging websites and change login details after the request is resolved. Users are also encouraged to back up their WordPress websites to ensure the ability to revert to a secure version if necessary.

7. Support Policy for Third-Party Themes 

Support services do not cover products supplied by third-party themes. If issues arise with the license, plugin updates, or compatibility, users are advised to contact the relevant theme developers’ support teams, such as Monstroid, Zemez, and Rockthemes. Tech Deck Labs does not provide updated plugin versions directly to customers or install them on their websites if the plugins are included in third-party themes. Compatibility issues may require switching to the Elementor Hello theme, and users will be directed to contact the appropriate theme developers for further assistance.

Please note that Tech Deck Labs is not the developer of the aforementioned products and cannot provide technical support for issues unrelated to Tech Deck Labs plugins.

8. Zoom Calls Support Policy 

Zoom calls may be utilized in specific scenarios:

  • Working on a localhost environment where full website access cannot be provided to the support team.
  • Addressing issues that are difficult to explain in tickets or chats, requiring screen sharing.
  • In cases where credentials cannot be shared due to security policies or other reasons, screen sharing may be preferable.

Video calls are limited to a duration of 20 minutes. If the issue exceeds this time frame or additional questions remain unanswered, users are advised to create a ticket for continued communication with the support agent. It is recommended to prepare questions in advance to maximize the productivity of the call. Please note that billing issues are not resolved through Zoom calls.

9. Requests Not Covered by Tech Deck Labs Support

The following scenarios are not covered by Tech Deck Labs support:

  • No valid purchase email is provided.
  • The license is expired, canceled, or refunded.
  • Compatibility issues with third-party products.
  • Server or website parameters that do not meet the recommended requirements for Tech Deck Labs products.
  • Browser-related issues.
  • Questions unrelated to Tech Deck Labs products.
  • Additional customization, custom CSS, and functionality not provided by Tech Deck Labs products (users are encouraged to submit feature requests or consult the Facebook Community in such cases).
